👨🏻‍🎓 Biography

Wentao Wu was born in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang. He obtained the B.E. degree from Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 2018, and the M.E. degree from Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China, in 2021. I am currently pursing the Ph.D. degree in electronic information from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. From 2023 to 2024, I am a Visiting PhD Student at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Victoria, BC, Canada.

My current research interests include distributed control, safety-critical control, and game-based control with their applications to unmanned marine vehicles. I have published more than 10 papers at the top international journals with total google scholar citations .

• 2024.01 - Present, I am a Visiting Ph.D. Student at Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Victoria, Canada, under the supervision of Prof. Yang Shi (Fellow of CAE, EIC, IEEE, ASME, CSME).
• 2021.09 - Present, I am a Ph.D. student at Department of Automation, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, under the supervision of Prof. Weidong Zhang (Distinguished Young Scholar and Cheung Kong Scholar) and Prof. Junguo Lu.
• 2018.09 - 2021.06, I was an M.E. student at College of Marine Electrical Engineering, Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China, under the supervision of Prof. Dan Wang and Prof. Zhouhua Peng.
